This is beautiful. Anduin is such a freaking dork, I love it.
I sometimes wonder though if maybe a reason there are points in the game (the books/comics seem to be better) where he gets kinda blandish character development/dialogue is that the writers are either so focused on making him the exact opposite of Varian to be a foil, or they forget they're actually writing a 15 year old kid. Even if he's mature for his age, he's still a 15 year old. Some of his stuff is really good...but I'd like if they did a bit more with him actually kind of acting his age. *takes writers hat off*
Anyway really cute comic. I love the dialogue and expressions!

Gladly, in Pandaria he goes full out rogue and runs around a continent previously unexplored by man. On his own. Even gets himself captured by Horde and escapes. So I guess he decided "Y'know, this IS boring..."
That questline was amusing too, though given how the king advised you not to do anything stupid, investigating some missing cows seems pretty safe on the surface to take the prince out on for an excursion.
Can't picture coming back, "And what did you do today son?" "Well father this adventurer took me out to the auction house, we threw coins at dancing naked nightelves in the fountain, chased a tauren druid through the old town, was attacked by the sewer crocodile, and spent twenty minutes smelting ore and stealing sugar for the cooks. What did you do today?"
I got such a kick out of this questline, and was even more thrilled when I was able to mount up and fly around but still have him follow me. Yay, the first "escort" NPC with a freaking flying mount!
(Though it was weird to see him casting Priest spells. With him being pretty much raised by ex-members of the Silver Hand, I really expected Paladin abilities.)
But seriously, I did like what he was trying to do, being all responsible and looking out for the welfare of his people. At least it wasn't like Children's Week and he begs you to take him to some place silly.
I really liked this quest sequence (but then, I always like it when they give you an npc to follow you around). I was especially amused by Varian's observation when you're given a collection quest: "Are you often sent to gather things for people? I suppose a hero's work is never done."
